*My Story as an Artist*
Since I was a kid, I have always loved creating something out of nothing. Prior to developing a passion for the art making process, I loved writing. My grandma gave me a journal when I was in 2nd grade and I have been writing every since. During my middle school years, I took a few photography and drawing classes, but really fell in love with the visual making process my last year of high school. Since then, I have had the irreplaceable experience of taking multiple art classes in college (sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, book binding, ceramics). While I have had experience with various mediums, paint is my favorite.

*My Story as an Art Educator*
Currently, I am working on getting a PhD in Art Education. I taught elementary art for 4 years. I have a B.S. in Art Education and an M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership (Art Education track). Having over 600 students a week, organization is crucial. However, I had a very difficult time finding a planner that was suitable to an art teacher's needs. So... I decided to start creating my own! Shortly after, I wanted to share my planners with other art teachers, so I opened an Etsy shop. Since then, I have expanded my store to not only my original handmade planners, but also my original art and handmade sketchbooks.
